We at CGI Inc. are currently seeking QA – Manual Testing Engineer
Candidate should have 4 to 8 years of proven experience in software quality assurance and testing of web and mobile applications. Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
Proficient in using Jira for issue tracking, test management, and reporting.
Strong experience in API testing using Postman, including writing test scripts and validating responses.
Understanding of RESTful API principles and the ability to test and troubleshoot APIs.
Knowledge of SQL for database validation and querying.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects early in the development process.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) for documenting defects and interacting with team members.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/ Scrum methodologies.
Previous experience in testing enterprise-level applications.
Basic knowledge of CI/ CD processes.
