The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is now inviting applications for the Summer Fellowship Programme 2025.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply for this two-month, focused internship through the official website. The application deadline is set for February 28, 2025, at 5 PM.

This fellowship programme is designed to cultivate a greater interest in high-caliber academic research among students from various fields, including Engineering, Management, Sciences, and Humanities.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Be in their 3rd year of Undergraduate studies (BE/ B.Tech/ BSc Engg) or
  • Be in the 3rd or 4th year of an Integrated/ Dual Degree Master’s Programme (ME /M.Tech/ MSc)

Furthermore, first-year MSc/ MA and MBA students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance—such as high rankings in university examinations, published research, completed projects, participation in design competitions, Mathematics Olympiad achievements, or other significant awards—are also encouraged to submit their applications.

It is important to note that students currently enrolled at IIT Madras are not eligible to apply for the Summer Fellowship Programme 2025.
