The OnePlus 13T, known for its compact size, is anticipated to compete against two major players in the market this year. The limited selection of compact smartphones in India features the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Oppo Find X8, each available at varying price ranges. OnePlus’ compact model, which is likely to include a dual camera system (in contrast to the triple camera setups of its rivals), may be offered at a more affordable price. Prior to any official announcements, a design render has emerged online, hinting at its aesthetic. Additionally, the full hardware specifications of the OnePlus 13T have been leaked.
OnePlus 13T Design (Leaked)
A nearly official render of the OnePlus 13T has been shared by the tipster Digital Chat Station on his Weibo account. This image reveals a design that closely resembles a blurry leak from March. Although it is difficult to ascertain the device’s thickness, it appears to be relatively slim, as the camera bump does not significantly extend from the rear panel.
The design of the OnePlus 13T in this black color variant evokes memories of the rear camera module found on Google’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The foldable device featured a distinct camera module with a similar shape, although its cameras were arranged horizontally, unlike the vertical layout depicted in the leaked render of the OnePlus 13T (main image above). The camera module includes two cameras housed within a capsule, accompanied by a flash and what is anticipated to be a laser-assisted focusing system on its right side.
Furthermore, tipster Abhishek Yadav has provided insights into the full specifications of the OnePlus 13T. According to him, the smartphone will boast an official IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. It is expected to feature a metal frame and weigh 185 grams, attributed to its compact design. Notably, the device will be available in three color options and will include a customizable Shortcut key in place of the traditional Alert slider.
OnePlus 13T Specifications (rumored)
The tipster indicates that the OnePlus 13T will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, the same processor found in its larger counterpart, the OnePlus 13. The phone is anticipated to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K. In contrast to the micro-quad-curved panel of the OnePlus 13, this model will have a flat screen.
In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the device is expected to come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, as suggested by the tipster and previous leaks. Connectivity options are likely to include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v5.4, an IR blaster, and NFC. The OnePlus 13T may also be equipped with a 6,100mAh battery and support for 80W wired charging. Interestingly, there is no mention of wireless charging in the leaked specifications.
Regarding its optical features, the phone is reported to include a 50-megapixel primary camera (Sony LYT700) and a 50-megapixel 2X telephoto camera (Samsung JN5). For selfies, it is expected to be equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera. Additionally, the device is anticipated to feature stereo speakers and operate on Android 15, which is based on Oxygen OS.
The OnePlus 13T is anticipated to be unveiled later this month in China, although it remains uncertain whether it will be released in India.
