Oppo A5 Pro 5G Launch in India: The thought of your phone falling into water or onto the floor can be quite distressing. However, you can now set those worries aside, as Oppo is set to launch a phone on April 24 that is designed to withstand such mishaps without damage. This device is named the Oppo A5 Pro 5G. Oppo has officially announced the launch date for the Oppo A5 Pro 5G smartphone in the Indian market. It will feature an IP69 rated build, providing protection against dust and water.

This phone serves as the successor to last year’s Oppo A3 Pro 5G smartphone. However, the Indian version of the Oppo A5 Pro 5G will differ significantly from the model available in China. The Oppo A5 Pro 5G will be offered in a brown color and is marketed with a 200 percent network boost, ensuring excellent connectivity even in challenging conditions.

Although the company has not disclosed the pricing details, a pre-prepared page on Flipkart suggests that the price may be under 20,000. According to a report, the cost of the smartphone with the 8GB + 128GB variant could be around Rs 17,999, while the 8GB + 256GB model might be priced at approximately Rs 19,999.

Potential Specifications of the Oppo A5 Pro 5G

The upcoming smartphone is expected to operate on Android 15 with ColorOS 15 and feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,412 pixels) AMOLED display, potentially boasting a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will likely be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, known for its superior performance. The device may come equipped with a substantial 5,800mAh battery and support for 45W fast charging.

Additionally, the phone could feature an IP69 rating along with a 360-degree damage-proof armor body, enhancing its drop resistance. For photography, it is anticipated to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.
