We are hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer with proven experience in Manual Testing. Hands-on experience with defect-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Deep understanding of anyone programming languages such as C# or TypeScript.
What is expected of you?
As part of the job, you will be required to
Read everything in detail that comes your way.
Define & document the test cases for application usability and behavior.
Elicit, analyze, specify & validate business requirements with a focus on automated testing.
Perform Functional, Integration, Usability, Smoke & Sanity and Load testing.
Keep stakeholders informed about the status and progress of testing.
Deliver client demonstrations showcasing new features.
Keep up with the technology and the domain to upgrade your capabilities in the area of testing.
Clear and concise communication of bugs, issues, and test results to developers and stakeholders using bug tracking tools.
Collaborate with the development team during brainstorming sessions to provide business insights and suggest improvements proactively during the design phase.
Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
Must have technical skills-
Three years of experience manual testing (Proficiency in creating and executing test plans and cases).
Hands-on experience with defect-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps).
Hands-on experience with Quality Assurance methodologies, STLC, and agile processes.
Knowledge of Usability testing.
Deep understanding of any one of the programming languages such as Java, java script or python.
Deep understanding of testing frameworks like selenium, Karate framework, BDD, Robot framework.
Basic Knowledge of SQL and DB testing.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and Problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.
Familiarity with tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
Understanding of REST services.
Hands-on experience on version control systems like Git
Good to have Skills-
Knowledge of advanced performance testing techniques and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Understanding of security testing concepts and tools like OWASP ZAP to identify vulnerabilities.
Working knowledge of API automation testing.
Automation tool: Selenium/ TestNG (Preferred)
Exposure to any CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins for automated testing integration.
