Washington: Apple has officially begun assembling its entire iPhone 16 series in India, representing a significant advancement in the company’s strategy to diversify its manufacturing operations beyond China. This development has been confirmed by GSM Arena.

Supply chain resilience

Importantly, this marks the first instance of producing the high-end Pro models outside of Apple’s traditional manufacturing base. This strategic initiative is part of Apple’s larger effort to bolster the resilience of its supply chain.
