iPhone 17 Series Design Leaked | Pro Models Seen With New Camera Module

The iPhone 17 series is anticipated to be officially announced in September, yet numerous leaks regarding the designs of the upcoming iPhone models have already surfaced online. Recently, new renders of dummy units for the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air (or Slim), iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max (or Ultra) have emerged, providing insight into their design. These renders display all four variants of the iPhone 17 in black and white shades. The standard iPhone 17 appears to maintain its familiar design, while the Pro models introduce a novel camera bar design.

iPhone 17 Series’ Dummy Units Give Us Another Look at Their Design

Sonny Dickson (@SonnyDickson) has posted images of the purported dummy units for the entire iPhone 17 series on X (formerly known as Twitter). The visuals depict the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max in both black and white color variants. It seems that Apple may retain the design of the standard model, mirroring that of the iPhone 16, which features a vertical camera arrangement with two sensors.

The iPhone 17 Air, anticipated to succeed the iPhone 16 Plus, showcases a completely revamped design characterized by a slim profile and a distinct camera layout compared to the other models. It is presented with an elongated pill-shaped camera array reminiscent of those found on Google Pixel devices, with a horizontally aligned camera island that appears to accommodate a single sensor.

The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to undergo the most significant design alterations, featuring a newly designed long horizontal camera bar in place of the current square configuration seen in the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
